偶然在本站看到的，下载看了一下很不错，当然英语起码要在６级以上，并且对本课程已有相当的熟悉程度，讲座老师是著名数学家，对基础课程当然是驾轻就熟了，所以很适合有一定基础的数学及理工＼经济学专业学生观看，英语和数学水平同时提高，对准备出国的尤其有帮助，在这里推荐一下，下面是老师的英文简历，以及主要著作（第一本是本课程的用书）．
Gilbert Strang was an undergraduate at MIT and a Rhodes Scholar at Balliol College, Oxford. His doctorate was from UCLA and since then he has taught at MIT. He has been a Sloan Fellow and a Fairchild Scholar and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is a Professor of Mathematics at MIT and an Honorary Fellow of Balliol College. Professor Strang has published a monograph with George Fix, "An Analysis of the Finite Element Method", and six textbooks:

Introduction to Linear Algebra (1993, 1998, 2003)

哇，太太太夸张了吧。
不过，人家老外在这些方面确实优秀呢。咱们中国人最擅长的是年轻时候考试，中年时候保持，中年末期堕落，很难出成果啊。

下载了他的视频，但是听力不够好，看起来很慢，只看了开头几节课的，但感觉还不错啊。

其实只要对这门课有初步的了解，听力好与否并不是很重要的，因为数学本身就是一种语言，老师的板书足以让我们理解他所表达的意思，就象音乐是一种语言一样，不会因为国籍不同而影响相互间的理解．愿与大家共勉！

我想知道的是。。在哪下载？就在这顺道求助下。。^_^

下载了第一集，感觉英语有些难度。看来的确要补一下英语了

我现在大二，英语过6级了，可还是听不懂，后来问老师才知道，应该积累一些专业词汇，这样就很容易明白

我今天刚下载了.我要学好数学和英语

我也下了一部分，模模糊湖的听着，还可以了！
不过有谁翻译一下就更好！

真的好想学啊可惜我的英语差,没有办法,真的好学好英语不知道有什么捷径没有?多多指教啊.

I have listened all this class, and here is my some ideas:
1. I am a little confused about the order of the knowledge. I rememer in China the first knowledge in linear algebra is det, but in this class this is explained in the middle of the class.
2. Because I do not have some books, sometimes I still can not understand it entirely.
3. I think what the teacher teaches in this class is some different from those are taught in Chinese universities.
